A fresh, nature-forward café interior for Kist — designed around the idea that good coffee and good design go hand in hand. The space is light, inviting, and distinctly green — a colour that runs through the tiles, walls, and accents like a through-line, creating a strong visual identity without overpowering the warmth of the space.
Service counter
A long marble-top counter clad in forest green rectangular tiles makes a bold and elegant statement. A row of five black and gold dome pendant lights runs the full length — combining practical task lighting with serious visual impact.
Dining area
White tabletops paired with natural oak chairs sit on a patterned Moroccan-style tile floor — a grounding detail that adds character underfoot. A feature wall in deep teal with panelled gold oak frames creates a striking dining backdrop.
Greenery & atmosphere
Trailing plants along the window ledge and tabletop potted herbs bring the outside in — softening the space and reinforcing the brand's natural, wholesome identity. Sage green upholstered chairs in the window nook add another layer of botanical warmth.
The palette of forest green, warm oak, white marble, and patterned encaustic tile gives Kist a distinctive personality that feels both contemporary and timeless — a café that regulars will return to as much for the ambiance as the coffee.
